In 1969, in response to a Canadian-American competition consortium, four Quebec wholesalers joined the measures to reduce maxi flyer-sneak peek costs and create a service for a large company. One of these people was Antoine Turmel, who gets the first CEO of Provigo. Provigo was founded in 1969 under the name of the Couvrette & Fracture, which had become Provigo in 1970.
